Council meetings
Meet at 9 am in the large Community Room of the Clearwater East Library on St Petersburg College Campus located at 2465 East Drew St, Clearwater. (corner of Drew St and Old Coachman). Free parking. Social time 9 am, council meeting begins promptly at 9:30 am.
2026-2027 council meeting dates are: Sept 1, Oct 6, Jan 5, Feb 2, April 6, and May 4.

Author of "Do it For Your Selfie” and host of two popular podcasts, Denise is a positive inspiration, and one of the brightest lights. When asked about what motivated her, she replied “Life gave me the storms, and I chose what to do with the lightning”. (wow!)
Lunch choices: Salmon Piccata (roasted potatoes and veg), or Eggplant Parmesan (baked in provolone cheese with pasta marinara), or Chicken Francese (tender chicken breast sauteed in lemon, wine, and capers with potatoes and veg). Entrees include Alfano's house salad, rolls with butter, coffee or iced tea, Limoncello Cake dessert. CASH bar.

She is known for her historical fiction and romance fiction novel series set in 15th century to 19th century Europe. Eliza is the creator of the popular historical blog History Undressed, and host on the History, Books and Wine podcast.
She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Drexel University. Her books have been translated into multiple languages, and, most recently, her co-authored title A Day of Fire has been optioned for television. She lives in the Tampa Bay area with her husband and three daughters, one of whom is a new Chi Omega sister at USF Tampa.
